Work Environment

This is an onsite position where you will work directly with patients in our modern rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing various assessment tools and techniques to formulate effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment programs that target specific goals, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing assessments of patient progress and tolerance.
• Administer direct patient care in accordance with physician prescriptions, ensuring adherence to all state regulations and clinic policies.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with departmental guidelines, ensuring accurate and efficient medical records.
• Engage in interdisciplinary discussions, including family meetings and conferences, to ensure comprehensive patient management and holistic care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to review sessions and team collaborations aimed at enhancing clinical practices.
• Respond to emergencies according to established protocols, maintaining patient safety and upholding the clinic's standards.
• Maintain professional development through continued education and participation in workshops, ensuring the latest techniques and methodologies are utilized.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters primarily to patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals from various age groups and activity levels, allowing for a rich and varied clinical experience. As a physical therapist, you will work closely with patients to guide them through their recovery journey, helping them regain function and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions against the license are acceptable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of rehabilitation exercises tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring efficient documentation and information sharing.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Previous exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration and patient management strategies will be an asset.
• Excellence in patient communication and education, fostering a supportive and motivating rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 , accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
