Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Falls Church, Virginia. In this role, you will partner with patients on their journey toward restoring mobility and achieving their personal best. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and includes specialized areas dedicated to sports medicine.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation center, collaborating closely with a skilled team comprised of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The center's environment fosters teamwork and innovation, aimed at providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and meet each patient's goals, needs, and progress.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring consistent and timely care while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to design and implement effective treatment plans.
• Offer cost-effective therapy interventions that enhance patient mobility and functional abilities.
• Provide alternatives to surgical interventions and help reduce reliance on medication where possible.
• Develop and adapt care plans employing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Create and lead fitness and wellness programs tailored specifically for individual patient needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care services, outcomes, and modifications in therapy plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize overall patient treatment and recovery strategies.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, aiming for optimal functional outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, helping them overcome injuries, regain movement, and return to optimal function. Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Must currently hold a valid Physical Therapist License in the state of Virginia with no disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic exercises are essential.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
• Compassionate nature with strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and facilitate their recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop individualized treatment plans and achieve measurable patient outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
