Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional capabilities and limitations to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy programs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and orthopedic expertise.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization skills to enhance patient outcomes and relieve discomfort.
• Monitor patient progress throughout their rehabilitation process, adjusting treatment plans and interventions according to evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications applicable to their specific conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and therapy interventions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, ranging from active athletes to elderly patients managing chronic pain, tailoring your approach to meet each individual's unique healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings is required.
• Strong manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization skills are essential for patient success.
• Exceptional assessment capabilities to facilitate direct access to therapy services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific orthopedic rehabilitation protocols and modalities.
• Proven ability to develop and adapt patient-centered programs in line with contemporary rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
