Work Environment

The role is based at our well-equipped rehabilitation center in Herndon, Virginia. Here, you will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to create a supportive and dynamic environment. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing techniques that promote recovery, mobility, and functionality based on the best available evidence.
• Provide training and education to patients and their caregivers, fostering understanding and confidence in home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes and meet physician's directives.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaboration and improve patient care.
• Strive to meet utilization goals and other business performance metrics to contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, those with neurological conditions, and athletes managing sports-related ailments. Your commitment to delivering personalized, evidence-based care will empower them to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.
• Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with patients, supporting their physical and emotional well-being.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, or sports medicine therapy is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in working collaboratively within a healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• A proactive approach to community engagement and patient relationship building.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
