Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients referred from various physician specialties, establishing tailored treatment programs that promote healing and functional improvement.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments and progress tracking, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic care directly at the rehabilitation facility, ensuring adherence to physician-established treatment goals.
• Provide education and training for patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of injury prevention and home exercise programs.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and the broader healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed utilization goals and performance metrics as part of the clinic's overall business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. You will be instrumental in addressing a wide array of conditions, providing care that not only focuses on rehabilitation but also emphasizes preventative measures and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficient computer and documentation skills relevant to patient care.
• A compassionate approach to building relationships with patients, aimed at helping them achieve their full functional potential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an array of therapy specialties, particularly those related to orthopedic and sports medicine.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems for efficient patient management and documentation.
• Behavioral skills to interact positively and effectively with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
