PT Plus Physical Therapy & Wellness Centers is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our specialized rehabilitation team in Arlington, Virginia. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation center, designed to facilitate an optimum environment for recovery and rehabilitation. Our clinic features modern tools, equipment, and resources that enhance the physical therapy process, ensuring that our team members can effectively deliver personalized treatment plans. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients adhering to best practices and state standards of physical therapy.
• Evaluate each patient's mobility, strength, and function levels to establish realistic and achievable short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Develop individualized Treatment Plans that cater to patient needs, including consultation with interdisciplinary team members and incorporating family involvement as needed.
• Implement and adjust Treatment Plans based on continual progress assessments, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises tailored to each patient.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress in accordance with medical standards and facility protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through educational workshops and review of relevant literature to stay abreast of innovations in physical therapy.
• Contribute to creating a clean and orderly environment, assisting colleagues as needed to promote a collaborative approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of patients, including individuals recovering from postoperative orthopedic procedures, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will cater to patients of all ages, utilizing your skills to positively influence their rehabilitation journey and assist them in achieving desired outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's or Doctoral degree.
• Must possess a current, active Physical Therapy license for the state of Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to patient care are essential, along with the ability to motivate patients effectively.
• Understanding of facility equipment operation and maintenance is important to ensure a safe working environment.

Preferred Experience

• Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience in engaging with patients to maximize their potential through tailored motivational strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation processes to maintain accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 - 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
