PT Plus Physical Therapy & Wellness Centers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our onsite rehabilitation team in Oakton, Virginia. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Oakton, Virginia, our rehabilitation center offers a collaborative and supportive workspace. We operate under a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for new and existing patients, assessing mobility, strength, and functionality to establish a baseline for treatment.
• Design personalized treatment plans that incorporate exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to facilitate patient recovery.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress, ensuring all adjustments align with realistic, attainable goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment adjustments in compliance with facility protocols and state laws.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, or conferences relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to create a cohesive rehabilitation program, ensuring holistic patient care.
• Foster a positive therapeutic environment by encouraging patients and motivating them to actively participate in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on treating a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will be instrumental in guiding patients of all ages towards regaining functional mobility, strength, and independence. Empathy and the ability to tailor therapies to meet the unique needs of each patient are essential qualities for success in this position.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, active state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with AED.
• Demonstrable ability to assess and tailor therapeutic interventions effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience providing orthopedic physical therapy.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and advanced rehabilitation techniques.
• A strong commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
