Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Fairfax, Virginia. This full-time position focuses on home care settings, allowing you to provide quality rehabilitation services directly in patients' homes. Work Environment

This position is based in a home care environment, providing therapy services in various residential settings across Fairfax. You will work primarily Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured schedule that supports a work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' physical and functional limitations due to orthopedic conditions.
• Design and implement personalized care plans that respond to patients' unique needs and objectives.
• Manage a caseload effectively, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and quality therapy.
• Employ evidence-based interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function, potentially reducing the need for surgical procedures and medications.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to improve range of motion and functional capabilities.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs, encouraging patients to stay engaged in their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining meticulous records of all therapy sessions.
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is key; consult and communicate effectively to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
• Document all patient care services with precision, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Encourage and inspire patients to commit to their rehabilitation goals and adopt a healthier lifestyle overall.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. This role allows you to work closely with individuals who are motivated to regain their strength, flexibility, and mobility. Many of our clients seek a personalized approach to pain management and rehabilitation, and you will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their recovery journeys. Our patients, who predominantly have private insurance, value the individualized attention and specialized care that you will provide.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Experience providing physical therapy in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, highlighting your ability to work with similar patient demographics.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the creation of effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is a plus, facilitating seamless documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home care or outpatient orthopedic practice.
• Strong background in sports medicine practices may be beneficial.
• Ability to motivate and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
