Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Centreville, Virginia, our facility offers a warm and friendly atmosphere designed for optimal patient engagement and recovery. Operating onsite, our physical therapists work within a supportive clinic that fosters teamwork and collaboration. This role is structured around consistent weekday hours, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• You will perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including gathering pertinent medical history and conducting specialized assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Once the treatment protocols are established based on evaluation findings, you will implement these plans while adapting to evolving patient needs and healthcare environments.

• You will maintain rigorous documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. This includes documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Collaboration is key; you'll be responsible for consulting with other healthcare professionals when necessary and recognizing any changes in patient condition that may warrant modifications in treatment plans.

• You will ensure proper discharge planning and follow-up care is conducted, prioritizing continuity of care for each patient.

• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, and families, fostering a positive clinic atmosphere.

• Your role will also include active participation in facility meetings and ongoing professional development to enhance team performance and patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role focuses on a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. Our clinic serves individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, requiring tailored therapeutic interventions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is essential, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

• Active licensure in the state of Virginia is required for practice.

• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Applicants should possess at least 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably within outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
