As a full-time therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients restore their mobility and improve their overall quality of life. Work Environment

Located in Manassas, Virginia, our outpatient facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technologies. The office environment encourages teamwork and open communication, ensuring that every staff member can contribute to and enhance patient care. You will work alongside two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, sharing knowledge and supporting each other to achieve optimal patient results. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments to identify patients' needs and establish specific rehabilitation goals.
• Treat an average of 2-3 patients per hour, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques that prioritize orthopedic recovery and functional movement.
• Develop detailed, individualized care plans that incorporate both traditional physical therapy methods and innovative practices.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and functional exercises to enhance patient mobility and minimize pain.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously using EMR software, such as WebPT, to track progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Actively evaluate patients' improvements and provide clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment progress and ongoing needs.
• Maintain a focus on promoting health and wellness by designing fitness programs that incorporate elements of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with other health professionals to create comprehensive treatment strategies that align with patient-specific goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population at our facility includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will be integral in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journey, employing a patient-centered approach that encourages self-management and empowerment. Your role directly impacts their recovery trajectory and long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Virginia Physical Therapist License, free of any board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a thorough understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Evidence of participation in continuing education programs related to orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience with programming for wellness and fitness initiatives tailored to enhancing patients' quality of life.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and capabilities.
