Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation center in Manassas, you will work onsite in a collaborative, patient-centric environment. The dynamic work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life rhythm while providing ample opportunities to make a meaningful impact on patient care. The center is primarily focused on treating patients with orthopedic conditions, offering an opportunity to engage in hands-on therapy and wellness practices in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the rehabilitative goals and needs of each patient effectively.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques that reduce reliance on medications, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives whenever feasible.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided, ensuring comprehensive and compliant records are maintained.
• Implement and adapt fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Evaluate treatment efficacy and monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their recovery process, fostering a proactive approach to health and wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will primarily consist of individuals with orthopedic concerns, many of whom are covered by private medical insurance. Effectively connecting with patients and addressing their unique needs during treatment will be pivotal for their recovery journey. You will foster a supportive environment, encouraging patients to express their concerns and actively participate in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no board actions or disciplinary actions pending.
• Demonstrable manual therapy skills and the ability to create effective exercise routines.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, with the ability to navigate and document efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic outpatient services is highly preferred.
• Experience in customizing rehabilitation programs based on the latest evidence and best practices in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

At BioMechanics Orthopedics Services Inc., we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
