Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology and equipment used in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our dedicated team members, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), work together to ensure each patient receives personalized, evidence-based care tailored to their individual needs.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite, allowing for real-time interaction with patients and access to specialized equipment necessary for effective treatment. The orthopedic outpatient setting fosters a collaborative environment, as healthcare professionals frequently exchange insights to optimize patient care. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a work-life balance while fulfilling our mission of enhancing patient mobility and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and evidence-based practices to restore function and mobility.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with scheduled patients, maintaining a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure sufficient time for evaluation and treatment.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and advanced modalities to facilitate recovery while minimizing the dependency on medications or surgical interventions.
• Control and monitor treatment progress through regular evaluations, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet patient needs.
• Document comprehensive notes on patient services provided and maintain accurate records according to regulatory standards using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Promote lifestyle changes that foster long-term wellness by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through custom fitness and wellness programs.
• Assist in the clinical education of support staff and maintain open lines of communication with physicians and multidisciplinary teams regarding patient progress.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, reinforcing their achievements and guiding them toward improving their overall functionality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. The focus is on personalized care, where every patient is treated with respect and empathy as they navigate their recovery journey. Our goal is to provide cost-effective treatments that empower patients to reclaim their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with no disciplinary actions taken against the license.
• Demonstrate strong manual therapy skills and be proficient in creating effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, and the ability to utilize them efficiently is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
