Grandcare Physical Therapy Services is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis in Centreville, VA. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine environment, equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities. Our dedicated team comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, culminating in a holistic approach to patient care.

Work Environment

This position demands on-site presence at our Centreville facility, where you will engage with patients face-to-face. Our clinical schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work week that allows for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans addressing mobility and functional limitations.
• Provide one-on-one treatments, maintaining a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, high-quality care.
• Implement evidence-based interventions designed to promote recovery and minimize reliance on medications.
• Utilize various treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and communicate outcomes effectively with patients and families.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately using our EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care.
• Motivate and inspire patients by promoting a healthy lifestyle, incorporating strength training, flexibility exercises, balance work, and coordination activities into their programs.
• Stay updated on clinical skills and advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation through ongoing education and training workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily comprises individuals with private medical insurance who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Grandcare, you will play a pivotal role in helping these clients restore movement, reduce pain, and regain their independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Centreville, VA, with no prior board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, tailored exercise programs, and proven rehabilitation strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a significant understanding of the unique challenges and needs of this patient population.
• A track record of utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing education stipends.
