Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans addressing objectives and outcomes.
• Manage patient caseload effectively, typically treating one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and timely progress monitoring.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities including manual therapy, exercise prescription, functional training, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Motivate and educate patients on self-management strategies, focusing on lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care while promoting seamless transitions through various stages of rehabilitation.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress to align with regulatory standards and evidence-based practices.
• Continuously analyze and adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By working closely with patients who often have private medical insurance, you will develop meaningful relationships and help them overcome barriers to mobility, enabling them to engage fully in their daily activities and passions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist licensure in Virginia.
• Strong record of professional integrity with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in both manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse patient demographics and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and their families, enhancing their trust and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, we provide full benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education allowances, and a supportive work-life balance.
