Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific mobility goals.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic services, emphasizing evidence-based techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage a reasonable patient load to maintain the quality of care, facilitating meaningful interactions that inspire trust and motivation.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment methodologies, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to enhance rehabilitation effectiveness.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy and modify plans accordingly to ensure progress towards patient goals.
• Promote non-invasive treatment methodologies while providing education on lifestyle modifications that enhance recovery.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software for accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment protocols, particularly with Web PT.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment journeys by fostering a supportive atmosphere that prioritizes their health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants and other healthcare providers, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We cater to a diverse group, ranging from athletes aiming to regain peak performance to older adults focusing on mobility and strength recovery. Your role will be critical in identifying and addressing the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional proficiency in a broad range of manual therapy techniques.
• Strong aptitude for developing and implementing personalized exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, especially Web PT, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated expertise in treating complex cases with varying degrees of mobility impairment.
• Consistent engagement with current physical therapy research and techniques to remain at the forefront of industry developments.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
