Active Life PT in Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation facility. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain motion, enhance their quality of life, and achieve optimal mobility through tailored physical therapy interventions.

Work Environment

As an onsite practitioner, you will work within a vibrant outpatient clinic dedicated to individualized patient care. You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, utilizing our advanced therapeutic tools and methodologies in a well-equipped facility. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work schedule for our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide high-quality care by utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance motion and mobility.
• Maintain an optimal patient load, ensuring quality time and attention to develop strong therapeutic relationships.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that focus on non-surgical alternatives, reducing reliance on medications.
• Create and administer specialized fitness and wellness programs that align with patient requirements.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, to accurately document patient information and treatment outcomes.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey by providing ongoing support and encouragement.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic, team-oriented care for all patients.
• Continuously evaluate efficacy of treatment plans and make adjustments as necessary to optimize patient results.
• Maintain precise records of services rendered, contributing to comprehensive patient care documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic emphasizes a personalized approach, ensuring that each client's unique goals and challenges are addressed effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic care.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, for accurate patient documentation.
• Staying current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience in developing individual rehabilitation plans and executing evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life PT offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education opportunities, and professional development support to foster your growth as a practitioner.
