Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, which includes reviewing medical histories, performing specific physical assessments, and documenting findings to inform treatment plans.
• Work with patients and their families to explain evaluation results and collaboratively establish clear, attainable treatment goals that reflect individual patient needs.
• Implement customized treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, patient presentations, and the latest healthcare guidelines.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently; adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in condition and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage in interprofessional consultations to foster comprehensive care, documenting all communications to maintain continuity and quality of care.
• Participate in discharge planning, coordinating follow-up care to ensure patients continue their recovery journey effectively.
• Contribute to departmental goals by actively participating in scheduled meetings and community outreach activities, promoting the clinic's services to enhance patient access and engagement.
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements by pursuing professional development and serving as a clinical mentor for students or new staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with a valid DPT license issued by the state of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each patient.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
