Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our team, you will primarily work on-site in patients' homes, which allows for a highly personalized treatment approach. Our therapists operate within a flexible schedule typically ranging from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a work-life balance that promotes job satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine appropriate treatment strategies in the home care setting.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Implement treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, promoting mobility, and restoring physical functions.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment objectives and methods as needed to reflect changes in their conditions.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, the use of any prescribed assistive devices, and strategies to enhance recovery.
• Maintain meticulous records documenting treatment sessions, patient responses, and overall progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops or seminars to stay abreast of the latest in physical therapy techniques and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including elderly individuals recovering at home, children with developmental delays, and adults who have sustained injuries or undergone surgeries. Your comprehensive approach will ensure each patient receives tailored interventions that align with their specific rehabilitation goals, allowing you to significantly enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical environment, particularly in home care or related settings.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in technology and electronic health record management to seamlessly document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare or community-based physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
