Work Environment

This full-time position offers an onsite work setting, with therapists providing home care services to a diverse patient population in the comfort of their residences. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan, adapting to the unique needs of each patient. Your schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday hours, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including assessing patients' medical histories and performing detailed physical assessments to develop effective treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, fostering a collaborative approach to goal setting.
• Utilize evidence-based protocols for treatment, adjusting methodologies based on individual patient responses and the latest healthcare advancements.
• Proactively collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, documenting significant changes in patients' conditions and ensuring modifications to care plans are effectively communicated.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care meticulously to promote continued recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, encompassing initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient access and outcomes, including participating in marketing activities to raise clinic visibility.
• Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and educational advancement, while serving as a clinical instructor to train future therapists.
• Exemplify outstanding customer service by being flexible and responsive to patient needs, contributing to a positive healthcare experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• No previous work experience in physical therapy is necessary; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
