Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, serving patients within their home environments, which allows for personalized care in a comfortable setting. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility to create their own schedules, with work hours primarily Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in their homes to assess their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific goals and functional deficits.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and use of assistive devices, aimed at reducing pain and restoring mobility.
• Continuously track and document patient progress, utilizing outcome measures and modifying treatment plans based on real-time feedback and evaluations.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, pain management strategies, and effective use of assistive devices to encourage self-management.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care, share insights, and align treatment plans with the holistic needs of patients.
• Enhance your professional skills through ongoing education, including attending workshops and participating in professional networks and societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to elderly adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Our focus on home care enables us to observe patients in their own environments, facilitating tailored interventions that accommodate their daily lives and specific challenges. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients from post-injury stages to full recovery, ensuring they regain independence and improve overall functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) recognized by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure optimal patient safety and emergency preparedness.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with orthopedics and rehabilitation within a home care environment will be very beneficial.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and community resources available to patients.

Compensation and Benefits
