LifeMotion Physical Therapy and Balance Center is seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

Located in Burke, Virginia, our facility promotes collaborative and multidisciplinary care. As a member of our team, you will work in a welcoming and supportive environment that prioritizes both staff and patient well-being. Our daily operations occur from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. This onsite role requires flexibility and a commitment to exceptional patient care in a home care setting, ensuring that treatments can be adapted to meet the unique challenges faced by individuals in their own living environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing diagnostic tests and assessments to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize optimal recovery and restoration of function.
• Employ diverse therapeutic modalities and customized exercise programs to support rehabilitation goals.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment techniques, self-management strategies, and recovery expectations, fostering active participation in the healing process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses both physical and psychosocial aspects of recovery.
• Accurately maintain patient records, documenting progress through clear, concise, and timely progress notes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to senior citizens, each facing distinct orthopedic challenges. Your role will focus on employing evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs, ensuring effective rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current licensure in the state of Virginia to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, though we also welcome new graduates passionate about orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings is advantageous, particularly in working with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries.
• Additional certifications in specialized modalities (e.g., manual therapy, sports rehabilitation) are a plus and will be considered favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 - 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan featuring employer matching. We offer generous paid time off ranging from 2-3 weeks, alongside financial support for continuing education, valued at $1,500 - $2,500 annually.
