The Flexi Motion Ortho Rehabilitation Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in Burke, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in Burke, Virginia, our outpatient facility boasts a state-of-the-art environment designed for the optimal delivery of rehabilitation services. The clinic operates within a dynamic healthcare ecosystem, allowing physical therapists to work closely with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts running from either 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, providing a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic needs.
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and functional training.
• Educating patients and their families about therapy goals, expected outcomes, and home exercises, ensuring they understand the rehabilitation process.
• Conducting educational in-service sessions for facility staff to promote awareness of therapy services and best practices in patient care.
• Maintaining comprehensive patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
• Participating in Care Plan Meetings to share insights regarding patient progress and to revise treatment strategies as necessary.
• Working closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure cohesive therapy delivery and optimal recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This role involves working with a diverse demographic that may include athletes, older adults in need of rehabilitation following joint replacements, and individuals managing chronic pain. Your expertise will significantly contribute to enhancing their mobility, pain management, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, with a preference for those holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and emergency preparedness.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel to various patient locations if required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• High energy, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous professional development in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred, it is not mandatory. We welcome applications from knowledgeable therapists demonstrating a passion for orthopedic care and a desire to work in a collaborative environment. Candidates with experience in patient education, home exercise program design, and familiarity with patient management software will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
