Work Environment

Our physical therapy center is located in a vibrant community in Annandale, Virginia, providing a welcoming and modern work environment. As a full-time member of our team, you will work onsite in an outpatient office setting from Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options available between 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address individual patient goals by identifying specific needs and creating customized treatment plans.
• Manage a manageable caseload with a focus on one-on-one patient interaction, providing undivided attention during each treatment session.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to ensure high-quality care tailored to each patient's condition and progress.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Reduce reliance on medications through the introduction of non-surgical therapeutic options that promote natural healing.
• Develop comprehensive care plans, setting measurable objectives and evaluating treatment outcomes regularly.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment regimen and encourage healthy lifestyle choices, reinforcing the importance of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for our patients.
• Document all care services accurately in our WebPT EMR system, maintaining clear communication throughout the treatment process.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and refine treatment protocols to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, with an emphasis on those with private medical insurance. By providing proactive care, you will assist patients recovering from various musculoskeletal conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. The goal is to return them to their desired level of activity and functionality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, ensuring the application of best practices in treatment.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols suited to each patient's unique needs and condition.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable expertise in managing and treating a diverse range of orthopedic cases will be advantageous.
• Ability to adapt treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and progress.

Compensation and Benefits
