Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, allowing for direct, hands-on interaction with patients within a comforting and well-equipped therapy space. Our facility is designed to optimize both therapeutic activities and patient comfort. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring that you maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving our client community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and functional requirements, designing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload by seeing one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality-driven care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques aimed at improving client mobility and range of motion.
• Incorporate cost-effective therapeutic solutions to minimize reliance on medication and surgical options.
• Engage in all phases of patient care, including rehabilitation exercises and manual therapies tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with industry standards.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey, instilling confidence and positive lifestyle changes related to their health.
• Collaborate proactively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive, thorough care for all patients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance personal expertise and patient services.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia, demonstrating legal eligibility to practice.

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and implementation of diverse exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ideally WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Candidates with a track record of successfully developing and executing rehabilitation programs that meet diverse patient needs will stand out. Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance treatment outcomes is an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
