Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Falls Church, Virginia, our onsite rehabilitation facility is designed to be a welcoming and supportive place for both staff and patients. The clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to enable our therapists to execute effective, individualized treatment plans. Working alongside a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, you will collaborate in a dynamic and encouraging atmosphere, prioritizing patient care above all else.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs, establish rehabilitation goals, and develop tailored treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic modalities.
• Manage a focused caseload, averaging one patient per hour, allowing for personalized attention and care.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and functional mobility, while effectively communicating progress to patients and their families.
• Implement cost-effective treatment solutions to minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, utilizing a variety of interventions designed to promote healing and prevent further injury.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and continuity of rehabilitation services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care services, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will help patients ranging from young athletes to older individuals seeking to regain mobility after surgeries or trauma. By focusing on active therapy methodologies, you will support clients through personalized rehabilitation plans, guiding them to achieve independence and improved function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Virginia, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• A clean professional record without history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise protocols.
• Competence in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing expertise in injury recovery and rehabilitation.
• Evidence of successful implementation of individualized treatment plans that result in measurable patient progress.
• Strong background in developing wellness programs aimed at enhancing patient lifestyle and physical activity.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
