Our team consists of seasoned professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to ensure a comfortable and effective treatment environment.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Arlington, VA. The role requires a commitment to a structured schedule, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our practice thrives in a bustling environment, where every team member contributes to a positive atmosphere that supports patient recovery and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the personalized goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused attention and quality care.
• Leverage your experience in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective and cost-efficient treatment plans.
• Develop diverse care strategies utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored for each patient.
• Encourage the minimization of medication reliance by exploring and promoting non-surgical treatment alternatives.
• Provide customized fitness and wellness programs to meet the unique requirements of patients.
• Document services provided and track patient progress through robust communication and evaluation methods.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and effective care.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation process, emphasizing the importance of enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Adventist Physical Health Rehabilitation primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance. Our demographic includes a diverse array of patients ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults requiring rehabilitative support to enhance their daily living activities. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Arlington, VA, with no pending or resolved disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, and the ability to utilize these tools effectively in daily practice.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable and will support your ability to excel in this role.
• Experience in managing high volumes of patients effectively while maintaining a high standard of care will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and commitment to patient care, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
