Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement and monitor treatment programs, employing a variety of modalities and manual therapies to promote recovery and enhance physical function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for achieving their rehab goals, ensuring they feel empowered throughout their recovery.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
• Contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the clinic by achieving minimum utilization goals and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with diverse patient populations, offering specialized care to individuals dealing with a variety of conditions, such as orthopedic injuries, pediatric challenges, neurological disorders, and sports-related ailments. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Virginia.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in various treatment techniques.
• Current CPR certification, indicating competence in emergency response situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and basic computer applications to maintain patient documentation and manage care plans.

• Experience in a diverse clinical setting delivering care to various patient demographics, particularly in rehabilitation settings.
