Work Environment

The position is based entirely onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will work under a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. With a patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour, our clinic allows you to provide focused, high-quality care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and therapy they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop effective, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, home exercise programs, pain management strategies, and post-treatment care, ensuring that they have the resources to continue their rehabilitation at home.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously in accordance with clinic protocols, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs that address all aspects of a patient's wellbeing.
• Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in physical therapy to continuously enhance clinical skills and improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal pain, and those undergoing rehabilitation after neurological injuries. We focus on providing each patient with a personalized care plan that prioritizes their recovery goals, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia, maintained in good standing with the state board.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A strong commitment to patient care and rehabilitation, with a genuine passion for helping individuals regain their mobility and health.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hiring.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
