Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Implement a diverse range of treatment techniques, including exercise regimens, therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and patient education, aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Carefully monitor and document patients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide insightful recommendations regarding the use of assistive devices for self-care and rehabilitation, ensuring patients are empowered in their recovery.
• Facilitate training sessions for patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members on the effective use of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of physical therapy practices by participating in continuing education workshops and professional networking events.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse array of patients, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Our clientele ranges from post-operative orthopedic patients to those recovering from sports-related injuries and chronic pain conditions. Your role is crucial in providing support and expert care, empowering each individual to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license for practicing Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, ensuring adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not required, candidates with a background or clinical internships focused on orthopedic rehabilitation will be viewed favorably. Experience with assistive technology and patient education strategies is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, complemented by a generous benefits package. You will receive:
