Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Consulting with patients to assess their physical condition and identify their specific symptoms through comprehensive evaluations.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and collaboratively developing treatment plans that effectively address patients' needs and goals.
• Instructing patients on the proper techniques for therapeutic exercises, tailoring exercises to their individual abilities.
• Administering rehabilitation modalities such as massage or mechanical stimulation to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Guiding patients in the use of mobility equipment, ensuring they are confident and safe when utilizing devices like wheelchairs or walkers.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records that document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Providing family education on supportive in-home treatment options and exercises to reinforce rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a broad spectrum of patients at Better Everyday Clinic, from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly adults facing mobility challenges post-surgery. You will be engaged with patients of various diagnoses and backgrounds, working to create individualized treatment pathways that promote healing and optimal function.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A current and unrestricted physical therapy license in Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to efficiently interact with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care.
• A flexible and agile mindset to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment procedures.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with a range of experiences, a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice is preferred. Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting, particularly in neurological or orthopedic rehabilitation, will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
