Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our purpose-built rehabilitation facility in Springfield, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized one-on-one therapy sessions, actively working with up to seven residents each day to ensure customized treatment plans aligned with their specific recovery goals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, using evidence-based practices to formulate and modify tailored treatment approaches.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore function effectively.
• Document patient progress meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accurate and timely updates to treatment plans and patient interactions.
• Engage in direct communication with patients, their families, and the therapeutic team to foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategize holistic interventions, contributing to the multidisciplinary framework of care.
• Create a motivating environment that encourages patients to set and achieve their rehabilitation goals, celebrating their successes along the way.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR systems for seamless documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, allowing you to bring your knowledge and insights into patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
