Work Environment

Located in the heart of Alexandria, our rehabilitation facility spans over 5000 square feet and is designed to create an inviting and efficient therapeutic environment. The clinic is well-equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and technology that enhance our treatment methods. Working alongside a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will be part of a supportive and collaborative workplace that prioritizes patient-centered care. Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic injuries covered by private medical insurance, allowing for personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals and specific needs in their rehabilitation journeys.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans to enhance patients' range of motion and functional mobility using evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a variety of modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise protocols to deliver effective treatments.
• Empower patients to minimize dependence on medication through evidence-based, non-surgical interventions.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with the rehabilitation efforts for each patient.
• Encourage and motivate patients during therapy to ensure engagement and optimum progress.
• Conduct diligent evaluations of treatment outcomes and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of patient care services using WebPT EMR software.
• Collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, focusing on increasing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in physical therapy practices.

• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated expertise in creating and executing effective exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with utilizing WebPT EMR software for clinical documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing the ability to effectively manage similar patient populations.
• Strong understanding of treatment protocols for various orthopedic conditions, enhancing efficiency in patient management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
