Work Environment

The role is based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Arlington, Virginia. Our work environment is supportive, fostering both professional development and teamwork. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite Monday through Friday, maintaining a 40-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs, gathering comprehensive medical history and conducting physical examinations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapies tailored to the patient's specific diagnosis and recovery goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation tools, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to effect positive change in the patient's condition.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Actively engage in patient education, empowering them with knowledge about their condition and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance patient results.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and valued.
• Meet organizational goals for patient utilization and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will allow you to treat a diverse patient population, inclusive of orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program is required; a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• A current license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications for documentation and communication.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients, fostering a supportive rehabilitation environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist is required.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and treatment settings, particularly in rehabilitation or outpatient therapy.
• Ability to adapt treatment techniques based on patient feedback and progress, employing clinical reasoning in your practice.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
