Work Environment

This position is exclusively onsite, ensuring that our practitioners can deliver hands-on care directly to patients in a supportive setting. The clinic operates between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. You will become an integral part of our dedicated team, working alongside other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care strategies that address unique health needs and rehabilitation goals, ensuring a personalized experience for every patient.
• Maintain a focused patient caseload, allowing you to allocate sufficient time and attention to each individual, which leads to improved recovery outcomes.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement tailored treatment plans based on each patient's specific condition and needs.
• Employ cost-effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to enhance motion, mobility, and overall physical function while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate diverse treatment techniques, from manual therapies to innovative exercise regimens.
• Motivate and support patients through every phase of their treatment, fostering confidence and promoting adherence to prescribed programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
• Conduct continuous assessments to evaluate treatment progress, adapting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation to comply with legal and policy standards while enhancing continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your ability to understand their unique circumstances and customize treatment approaches will play a crucial role in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Virginia is required.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings against your professional license.
• Proven expertise in a variety of manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest physical therapy modalities and evidence-based practices to ensure the best care for your patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
• Experience working with sports-related injuries and rehabilitation programs enhances your appeal as a candidate.
• Familiarity with community wellness initiatives and preventative care would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive patient environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
