Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a modern outpatient facility equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technologies. Therapists operate under a set schedule, typically seeing patients from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescriptions, hands-on manual therapy, and specialized equipment, to facilitate pain alleviation and enhance mobility.
• Track patient progress, meticulously documenting treatments and responses to ensure continuous improvement and timely adjustments to therapy plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment methodologies and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient condition and adapt treatments as necessary to meet evolving goals and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Recommend appropriate assistive devices to aid patient mobility and daily activities, providing training on their application.
• Maintain professional development through workshops, conferences, and active participation in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Azure, you will be working primarily with adults and children in an outpatient setting. You will engage with a diverse clientele, managing cases that include post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, ensuring they achieve maximum functional potential through effective therapy and support.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and state licensure are required, previous experience in outpatient settings or a background in sports rehabilitation will be considered advantageous.
