Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office in Arlington, where you will collaborate with a team of skilled physical therapists and healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a stable work-life balance. You will engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals with chronic pain or mobility issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish a baseline for treatment.
• Develop individualized care plans that incorporate advanced therapeutic techniques and patient-specific goals.
• Implement and monitor prescribed treatment regimens, adapting as necessary based on the patient's progress and feedback.
• Utilize various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' mobility and reduce pain effectively.
• Educate patients on treatment options, emphasizing non-surgical interventions and the importance of adhering to exercise programs.
• Maintain clear and precise documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Promote wellness by designing fitness programs that foster strength, flexibility, and coordination, aligned with patients' lifestyles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and address the holistic needs of patients.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment protocols and make amendments to optimize patient recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients, helping to maintain their commitment to rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a varied patient demographic, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals facing musculoskeletal disorders. Each treatment plan will be tailored to meet the particular challenges and aspirations of the patients, underscoring our commitment to personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active and current Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy practices and methodologies backed by research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
