The position offers a structured work schedule of 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services by developing tailored rehabilitation programs that align with the individual goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a reasonable caseload that enables you to devote sufficient attention and care to every individual, ensuring thorough assessments and treatments.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement treatment strategies that enhance patients' motion and mobility.
• Emphasize and promote non-surgical treatment options, encouraging a pathway that minimizes reliance on medication.
• Create comprehensive care plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques, tailored specifically to the challenges and aspirations of each patient.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that focus on improving overall health and physical capabilities.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering an environment of support and positivity.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on outpatient clients, including athletes, individuals recovering from injuries, and patients with chronic pain or mobility issues. Our diverse patient population requires a versatile therapeutic approach and a commitment to ongoing learning about the latest in physical therapy advancements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent is required; candidates with higher qualifications such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are encouraged to apply.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in Virginia.
• Proven experience working in outpatient clinics, specifically with orthopedic patients.
• Strong competency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly WebPT, for precise documentation and patient tracking.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices and techniques.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy, experience working with diverse patient demographics, or proficiency in incorporating technology into treatment plans will enhance your application. Ideal candidates also share a commitment to staying informed about advancements in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
