Work Environment

Our clinic is equipped with modern facilities designed to facilitate a variety of therapeutic activities, ensuring our therapists can deliver optimal care. The work setting is onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a comfortable environment, fostering relationships and improving treatment outcomes. The schedule for this role includes weekdays with two potential shifts, either from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing a work-life balance while attending to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific needs and goals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and cost-effective treatment options to enhance patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload to ensure quality care and individualized attention for each patient.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the importance of rehabilitation, encouraging self-management strategies.
• Document patient interactions, treatments delivered, and progress using EMR software, specifically WebPT, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness initiatives aiming to improve strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with an outpatient client base that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients are diverse, ranging from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to elderly individuals requiring mobility assistance. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery journeys, making it imperative to approach each case with empathy and customized care strategies.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and an ability to create robust exercise regimens based on individual patient needs.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
• Have a solid understanding of current physical therapy practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is desirable.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred to facilitate efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
