Agile Touch Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our Arlington, Virginia location. Work Environment

Our facility is designed for maximum functionality and comfort, offering a range of clinical and therapeutic spaces. As a member of our team, you will work in a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere where patient care is our highest priority. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and set achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques and exercises to improve patient mobility and strength.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation processes, and therapeutic exercises to promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using an electronic medical record (EMR) system such as WebPT.
• Encourage and motivate patients to achieve their therapy goals through positive reinforcement and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Touch, you will primarily work with diverse outpatient clients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with orthopedic conditions, and patients requiring post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role will focus on enhancing their mobility, promoting recovery, and improving their overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. Candidates with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree are preferred.
• Possession of a valid State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions.
• Proven manual therapy skills are essential.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While candidates new to the profession will be considered, preference will be given to those with experience in orthopedic outpatient care, working efficiently with 2 to 3 patients per hour. Experience in developing and implementing individualized fitness and wellness regimens is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
