Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
• Administer various therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure high-quality attention and interactions with each patient.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, emphasizing non-surgical treatments, to help minimize reliance on prescriptions for pain management.
• Foster a motivational atmosphere that encourages patients to achieve their rehabilitation targets and maintain an active lifestyle.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, including referrals and consultations as required.
• Document patient encounters meticulously using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals convalescing from surgery, and patients managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will support their recovery journey, facilitating a wide range of conditions, primarily in orthopedic and sports medicine, and assisting patients of all ages in enhancing their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia without any history of sanctions or board disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise programs.
• Expertise in using EMR software (such as WebPT) for documentation purposes and patient management.
• Commitment to staying current with the latest physical therapy trends and methodologies through continuous education and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Demonstrated success in treating orthopedic conditions and achieving positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
