We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Beyond Therapy Center, located in the vibrant community of Herndon, Virginia. This full-time position will focus on delivering exceptional physical therapy services in our outpatient clinic, specializing in enhancing patient mobility and overall quality of life.

Work Environment

The position will require your presence on-site, where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Here, you will work in a positive and professional atmosphere, engaging with patients from diverse backgrounds within the outpatient setting. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations, determining personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring function and mobility.
• Provide tailored therapeutic interventions that align with each patient's specific recovery goals, employing best practices in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Utilize cost-effective modalities, prioritizing non-surgical treatment options and fostering independence through active patient participation.
• Develop and execute innovative fitness and wellness programs, guiding patients through comprehensive rehabilitation journeys.
• Motivate patients to remain committed to their physical therapy regimes, providing continuous encouragement and support.
• Document patient progress meticulously using EMR software, particularly WebPT, ensuring accurate records that facilitate care coordination.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers within the center to ensure holistic and integrated care for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient base, including athletes, seniors, and individuals recovering from surgery or injury. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals regain their abilities and improve their quality of life through personalized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• Possess a current and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a clear record, free from sanctions.
• Demonstrated expertise in a range of manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skills in devising and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to various patient needs.
• Proficiency in EMR software such as WebPT for effective patient documentation.
• A strong foundation in contemporary physical therapy methodologies supported by evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation will be considered an asset.
• Proven ability to thrive in a busy clinical environment, managing multiple patient cases simultaneously while maintaining high standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
