Work Environment

Located in Herndon, Virginia, our Rehabilitation Center features modern equipment and a collaborative atmosphere that encourages teamwork among healthcare professionals. Our working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, which promotes a healthy work-life balance for all staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care, ensuring that treatment plans cater to each patient's unique goals and needs.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing for meaningful engagements with each patient to foster trust and effective treatment.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to assess and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, drawing on evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities to optimize patient rehabilitation.
• Emphasize non-surgical interventions and incorporate fitness and wellness concepts to minimize reliance on medications.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment, making adjustments as necessary to align with patient progress.
• Perform diligent documentation of patient care using EMR systems, including familiarity with Web PT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in inter-professional collaboration, working seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role mainly focuses on managing a diverse outpatient clientele, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation patients. The therapist will play a crucial role in enhancing patients' functional abilities, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Possess a valid and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated mastery in multiple manual therapy techniques and a track record of designing effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Exceptional knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies and treatment protocols backed by research.
• Proficient in documenting patient progress and treatment plans using EMR software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice, preferably in a sports medicine setting.
• Previous engagement in developing and leading fitness and wellness initiatives for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
