Ortholand Therapy Center is seeking dedicated and skilled Physical Therapists to join our full-time team at our outpatient facility in Fairfax, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Fairfax, our outpatient office is designed to enhance the patient healing experience while providing the necessary resources for our staff's professional growth. This role is fully onsite, where the Physical Therapists work closely with patients and team members in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced therapy tools and technologies. Our team operates every weekday, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their individual physical conditions by reviewing histories and performing tailored assessments to create personalized treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring active participation in goal-setting and recovery processes.
• Implement treatment protocols, adjusting methods and techniques based on patient needs and evolving healthcare practices, ensuring optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop integrated care strategies and document any changes in patients' conditions requiring modifications to their care plans.
• Manage accurate documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge planning, in a timely manner to meet compliance standards.
• Exhibit strong time management skills by maintaining an organized schedule, meeting productivity benchmarks, and actively participating in community marketing initiatives.
• Engage in departmental goal-setting discussions and comply with regulatory standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Take the initiative in pursuing ongoing education and professional development, ensuring both personal and organizational growth in therapeutic practices.
• Contribute towards enhancing patient access to care by actively engaging in initiatives aimed at removing barriers and understanding satisfaction metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological issues, among others. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to helping patients achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as required for Physical Therapists in the State of Virginia.
• Valid American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not required, candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient management software is an advantage for streamlining documentation and care coordination.
