Joint Journey Physical Therapy is seeking a committed and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Centreville, Virginia location. This full-time position focuses on providing specialized outpatient rehabilitation services to enhance patients' mobility, restore function, and elevate their quality of life. Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility, interacting closely with patients and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehab technicians. Our work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work schedule conducive to both professional growth and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify specific physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise modalities, tailored to the patient's condition.
• Manage a reasonable caseload that allows for sufficient time with each patient to foster trust and effective communication.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs aimed at improving orthopedic conditions and enhancing mobility.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, reducing reliance on medications by promoting physical rehabilitation.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation process, providing encouragement and support to boost their confidence.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs and integrate holistic care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse outpatient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic conditions resulting from sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with patients of all ages, helping them regain their independence and improving their functional abilities through targeted rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise regimens.
• Competence in utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation and communication.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly in sports medicine or post-surgical recovery.
• Familiarity with the latest evidence-based therapeutic practices and technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse patient population and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
