Empire Physical Therapist is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our dynamic outpatient team in West Mclean, Virginia. Work Environment

Our West Mclean location is an onsite outpatient facility that operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Here, you will work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals—including physicians, occupational therapists, and fitness specialists—committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Your role will involve a diverse range of tasks aimed at not only restoring function but also promoting health and wellness within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and physical needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients, dedicating appropriate time for evaluations, treatment, and follow-up.
• Apply a variety of orthopedic techniques to improve mobility, strength, and coordination, utilizing manual therapy modalities and exercise prescription.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and exercises promoting independence in their recovery journey.
• Utilize EMR software, including WebPT, to maintain precise and accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatment outcomes.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery pathways.
• Foster an encouraging environment that motivates patients to adhere to treatment protocols and achieve their personal health objectives.
• Engage in team-based discussions to review case progress and share insights on best practices.
• Work to integrate preventive strategies that minimize the need for surgical interventions or pharmacological solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Empire Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, postoperative rehabilitation patients, and individuals managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational background.
• Possession of a current, unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy, complemented by prior clinical experience of at least two years.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
