Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, as you will be traveling to patients' homes in West McLean and neighboring areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, utilizing a range of techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment assistance.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on their responses and recovery goals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on appropriate techniques and tools to facilitate self-care and mobility improvements, ensuring a strong support network outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest advances in physical therapy practices by engaging in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and seminars.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, ensuring all aspects of their recovery are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a varied patient population, including children, adults, and the elderly with diverse needs ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, preferably in home care.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software tools for documenting patient care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including:
