Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Arlington, Virginia. The clinic provides a vibrant, supportive environment where teamwork and professional development are at the heart of our operations. Our work schedule runs from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for balance between professional responsibilities and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for patients, determining their unique rehabilitation goals and formulating personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring each patient receives ample time and attention for optimal engagement and recovery.
• Exhibit expertise in orthopedic outpatient care by leveraging past experience and best practices in the field.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment strategies focused on improving patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Prioritize non-surgical treatment options, reducing reliance on medication while enhancing patients' ability to lead active, healthy lives.
• Design comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of treatment modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Conduct assessments and modify treatment techniques in accordance with patient progress, ensuring the most effective interventions are utilized.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes recovery.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and progress using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on outpatient orthopedic patients, addressing a wide array of conditions including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and mobility impairments. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse population, ranging from athletes seeking to regain performance levels post-injury to elderly patients improving their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required for this position.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia is mandatory, along with a clean license with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to implement successful therapeutic exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient and clear documentation practices.
• A commitment to staying updated with current research and physical therapy techniques, ensuring the application of best practices in the clinic.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
