Mineview Physio-Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This role focuses on providing specialized home care services for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, ensuring their rehabilitation goals are met in the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment

This position is conducted onsite, providing physical therapy in a home setting. Scheduled for weekdays, Monday to Friday, our therapists work closely with each client to create individualized care plans. Our environment emphasizes collaboration, allowing therapists to work with their clients' families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective therapy and rehabilitation outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, restoring function, and increasing mobility to enhance client independence.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tools to assess clients' physical capacities, identifying opportunities for rehabilitation and ongoing development.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective execution of care plans and deliver quality patient care.
• Explore and assess each client's home environment, making informed recommendations to facilitate safe and effective rehabilitation.
• Deliver on-demand therapy services as prescribed by physicians, administering treatments, and providing education on exercises tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations and progress notes, adhering to OASIS standards for documentation.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and engage in care planning and evaluation, ensuring collaborative client treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about physical therapy protocols and device care, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapy process.
• Prepare and submit timely orders and documentation according to company policy, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Engage with clients and their families consistently to foster strong therapeutic relationships and support their journey toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will work primarily with a diverse client population, including elderly patients, individuals recovering from accidents or surgeries, and those with chronic conditions. The therapist will play an essential role in offering personalized care that respects each client's unique health challenges and personal goals. Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess an active PT license in good standing within the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrable experience with at least one year serving as a physical therapist in acute care or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification and a commitment to adhere to safety and regulatory protocols.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, showcasing an ability to engage positively with clients, families, and collaborative teams.
• Proficiency in federal and state healthcare regulations, ensuring compliance alongside clinical excellence.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home health therapy settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, reflecting the level of experience and dedication we seek in our team members.
