Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will have the opportunity to work in clients' homes, bringing your expertise directly to those who need it most. Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring functional capabilities in accordance with individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using diagnostic tests to establish baseline functional levels.
• Assess the home environment and provide recommendations to enhance rehabilitation strategies that foster increased independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and apply physical agents as necessary to support recovery goals.
• Evaluate and fit orthotic and prosthetic equipment, making recommendations to physicians for adjustments as needed.
• Document clinical interactions meticulously, including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Actively contribute to our interdisciplinary team through case conferences, facilitating cohesive treatment planning.
• Educate clients and their families on therapy techniques, device utilization, and strategies to integrate therapeutic practices into daily life.
• Ensure timely submission of all required documentation, adhering to agency policies and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives to stay current in best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain conditions, or seeking post-rehabilitation support. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in home care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage both clients and family members effectively.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and capacity for independent decision-making.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with geriatric populations and understanding their unique health challenges.
• Familiarity with home health care regulations and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and advanced rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
