Work Environment

Your work setting will be primarily onsite in patients' homes, providing you with the unique opportunity to assess and treat individuals within their natural living environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' needs to develop individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and enhance mobility.
• Provide ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment plans, implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions while documenting patient progress and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment methodologies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, healthcare providers, and referral sources to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and team development activities aimed at improving patient services and organizational practices.
• Fulfill administrative responsibilities, including timely and accurate documentation of patient treatments, coding for services rendered, and adherence to all regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, physical therapy assistants, and interns in providing care, enhancing their skills and knowledge for improved service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Orthoworks, you will primarily work with adults and elderly patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. You will play a direct role in advancing their recovery process through tailored restoration programs and vital education on maintaining mobility and injury prevention in their daily lives. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with advanced degrees are encouraged to apply.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
